Calculating the area yourself:
Measure the length of the walls you need to tile and times that by the height of the room, the result will tell you how many square metres (sq foot) you need.
For floors you need to times the length by the width of the floor area you need to tile, the result being the square metreage (sq foot) of floor.
Example:
Wall width 3m, Wall height: 2.3m Area to be tiled; 3mx2.3m=6.9sqm(square metres)
Floor width 3m Floor length 4m Area to be tiled; 3mx4m=12sqm(square metres)
Wastage should be allowed for ( breakage, cuts, etc...) at the rate of 10%.
